CHOC to gain automated financial control and process efficiency through the deployment of Fraxion

May 04 2018

CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation will deploy Fraxion across seven national locations to automate manual processes and improve process efficiency.

Fraxion’s technology was selected to meet CHOC’s complex requirements due to our growing expertise and knowledge base in the NPO space. Additionally, the simplicity, ease of use and minimal training requirements were key drivers in the selection. As CHOC’s procurement processes are distributed, control is difficult to enforce and delays in processing often occur. With Fraxion, they will gain the tools to enforce polices and financial control while eliminating bottlenecks and delays in the accounts payable department. Automated purchase order generation and invoice management in Fraxion will further streamline purchasing processes.

Fraxion CEO, Stanton Jandrell said: “CHOC will utilise our full suite with the addition of Cash Advances and Time Sheets to further enhance process efficiency and financial control across the organisation. We are delighted to be working with this pioneering NPO.”

CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation was established in 1979 by parents of children with cancer. Their aim was to ease the burden on parents facing the same journey by providing access to relevant, accurate information, as well as emotional and practical support. Today CHOC is the only organisation in South Africa that provides comprehensive countrywide support for children with cancer and other life-threatening blood disorders, and their families. They operate from a head office in Johannesburg, six regional offices, two branches, and 12 accommodation facilities close to treatment centres. CHOC plays a leading advocacy role through cancer awareness campaigns and lobbying. They also train and educate healthcare professionals, home-based care workers and traditional practitioners on the early warning signs of childhood cancer to promote early detection.
